Illness Calls

When calling to report an illness, give the child’s:

  1. Name
  2. Age
  3. Chief complaint
  4. Degree of fever
  5. Duration of illness
  6. Telephone number of your pharmacy
  7. Child’s history of allergy or chronic illness
  8. Type of insurance.*

*Many insurance companies allow providers to refer your. child only to certain hospitals or laboratories. Please be aware of which hospitals and laboratories these are for your particular insurance. All telephone calls to the office will be returned. If you call during regular office hours and I am seeing a patient, a message may be taken unless the call is an emergency. I will return your call when I am free to do so.
